Thanks to the 15 employees from Chesapeake Energy Corp. who volunteered in our community garden and medians on June 10th. Allen and Lia and four Closer To Earth youth led the work projects. We put in metal edging around the south wildflower spiral path. We weeded, planted flowers and mulched the two raised beds in the medians between 30th and 32nd. We prepared the new native grass bed by removing bermuda and dallas grass in the 30th street median. The day finished by eating PapaJohns pizza and a good time was had by all!
